How can I record the q link effects?

I get a sound I like with the q-link, then hit record and it resets it? I have used the search and not found anything.

it sounds to me like its because you have already recorded the note into the sequencer, and now your changing a parameter with the q link as it plays... hearing somthing you like and then stoping the sequencer nd trying to record the q link info in..

so as you press play start or play n overdub or whatever the sequencer sets the parameters back to what they was when you recorded the note. As it should

I will try that. I really want to get this working because I really love the q-link. I am really inspired to try some eddie van halen type shit on this mpc...I am learning every day all the things I didn't think were possible are now possible with the 1000 and the JJ OS. JJ OS is the only reason I keep the mp.
