Wazzup guys

I installed os 5.33 last night i was on 1.22 before never had any real problems whit but just wanted to check out the extra features

after switching os's when i press for example pad 1 9 out of 10 times it played other pads in stead of pad 1

i know this used to happen on one of the older akai os's but i havent heard anyting about it on jj

also by pressing mode and lets say pad7 "program" it would go to the trim screen or the "record " screen so im thinking my mp is kaput

anyway i fixxed by pressing every sinlge pad hard one by one then problem went away

does anybody know if this is a hardware problem or software ??

let me know thanks

hardware, you should take your 2500 back to the store.

A few months ago I read a thread which basically stated that if your pads are triggering other pads, then take the top off and clean it and make sure the pads are aligned properly. It worked for the two geezers that had the same problem. Worth a try innit?!
If it doesn't solve the problem.... try somethin else.
my 2 cents

oh yeah.. every so often I have the problem where when I quickly hit an F button it jumps to an irrelevant screen! don't know what that's all about... doesn't happen often enough to bother me.

no that's in the akai os. i haven't had jj long enough to notice it. i acutally just threw him the 30 bones this week. glad i did though, cause those audio tracks are brilliant. saving audio tracks as little midi events was pretty bootleg, but having the audio tracks really makes the machine more professional.

a little off topic, but whatever. sh*t is amazing

how do you actually use audio tracks and what are they for?
