Recording Slider Automation?

Can you record the qlink slider automation on JJ OS?
I read from somewhere that it's not possible to record the pans or volume changes on sliders,is this true?

I'm sorry, i tried to google and look within the forums but
didn't find the answer.

not true, you can record q-link data and even edit it in grid, you can record mixer changes
