is this possible?
for example:
i have a scale prg.(only midinotes, no samples) on track one, and a piano samples prg. on track 2 (notes in chromatic order).
how can i route the midi datas from track 1 to track 2?
thx for answering

make a new program by copying the MIDI program, then add the piano sample and set it to chromatic scale by global program mode(make sure it matches up to your MIDI notes)

anyone knows if this is possible on the 4k?

You could also go to MODE+Pad 13 and copy the info over to the next track, and just choose merge instead of replace. That would copy MIDI data from track 1 over to track 2.

i d like to play the other track (f.e. piano) as a kind of soundmodule... know what i mean?
in realtime and when i like it then i record it....

i know this feature from ableton: play one track as an input from another track...

i know how i can copy midi notes from one track to another... thats not the point...

nevermind, thx

My old RS7000 used to do this. Useful feature.
