i downloaded the free 5.34 version (can't afford the password yet) and a preset program was loaded into my 2500. the pad with the sample 'sine' had a noticable decay when struck quickly, and something i found to be interesting was that in 16-levels mode(tuning) the decay was the same length of time for every pad (i would have expected the higher notes to die out much more quickly). i never knew the jj system existed until today, i grabbed the 3.06 version and i'm in heaven. but out of all the features i caught right away... here is this equal decay for a sample in 16-levels mode that i haven't been able to recapture. is there some kind of control or feature i've missed? is this part of the No effects were assigned to the pad, i checked. if anyone is following me at all about this i would appreciate any information.

its normal . no trick here.
just loop a sample and give it some decay. decay is the same for every pitch.
but when you have a nonlooped sample that has a decay (not the decay in program settings but in audio) it will get shorter when pitched up and so will the decay.
