Overdubbing

Hi Folks,

I borrowed foot switches that were gathering dust from a good friend
set em up and they are great, got overdub on one pedal that i can activate and deactivate overdub with one tap.

Is there any possibility to using the overdub button on the mpc without having to press record or play at the same time ? i like the one button solution, its less distracting.

Hi i´m also using footswitch for overdub but it seems like nobody is interrested in footswitching something ...

don't know excatly, but this should also be possible on the 2500.
go to the OTHER menu, then to FOOTSW. and select overdub+play as option.
works fine here.
