Tap Tempo Bug

When I hit the tap tempo button, there is a sample assigned to it and it stops my samples from playing, because I have a mono program. When the mpc does not play and I hit the tap tempo button, the sample starts to play at a low volume. Anyone experiences this as well?

never heard of this problem, sounds very strange. i didn't know it was possible for sounds to be routed in such a way. maybe try reinstalling new os.

Could be a hardware problem, check if pad 16 or 12 is acting strange.

i've had a similar problem to this ...
i think it's one of the pads has failed and is constantly triggering.
if this is the case then when you press and hold tap tempo - you get note repeat without hitting any pads.
check all you pads are triggering correct - goto - mode options - pads.
