stupid question , but are you saying that there is no samples in it when you go to trim mode..?
When I first got mine I didnt realize that you have to assign the samples to the pads in program ->samples mode.
SO that maybe the problem.. I know it may sound dumb to more advanced users but that had me buggin at first

Also check that your samples are the correct sample-rate (44100) or they will remain silent.

jimmie, are you sayin that you can't load up samples in other sample rates than 44.1 into 2500? That's weird. I feed my 1000 with samples at various sample rates as long as samples are 16-bit depth.

Actually.... scrap what I said... my bad... It's different bit-depths that don't work..... derrrrrrrr. Diff sample rate works!

I have this same problem. I installed the JJ OS and when I go to Program>Samples Mode, It will play the original programs. But if you create a program and select your samples (even the default ones) they won't play. Someone help!

It happens too when I load some programs created with earlier OS's... I can only hear the sounds in trim mode.

man, all yall had to say was that you have to create the program instead of dropping sounds in pads such as the akai os, <---- anyways there is the remedy,
