sup fellas got a new mpc1000 for 400 bucks and slaped in the jj os last night...


fav feature is audio tracks i can compose some ish and sample the keyboard sound right into sequence..and just carry the mpc around with my fully composed or sampled beats,,30 bucks well spent

thumbs up to this OS..has everything i was using on my mv8000 but with mpc ways of doing things...

also this is mpc1kallday i forgot my passwords on that id and cant seem to remeber what email i used,,,

hey you could sample the reason and vst's in there too. :idea:
might give it a warmer less digital feel..

?, the 1000 is digital. it just would be more digital.

@hydroslanger I know, mabey its just me, but coming straight from computer with vst's sounds more digital than coming out of the mpc.
everybody's ears are different... grind it out. (alot of my producer friends believe this too that's why some don't use vst's (too clean).

@grandpricks: I haven't done it yet but i figure midi up reasons to the mpc or a keyboard of your preference and run the audio back into the mpc on an audio track. once you sync it...

1.change drum to audio-automaticly brings up track 57
2.make sure ur audio thrue is selected
3.play ur beat
4.find sound to record...
4.press record and play the mpc counts down from 4
5.record audio directly to track 57-

ur good to go.. :D
