I need to trigger two midi channels from one input. In other words I need to trigger midi channels 1A and 1B at the same time.
JJ please allow user to control for example: Midi 1A + 1Midi B or 1C + 1D from one single midi input.Or better yet please give the user the option to choose what two midi out's one can send out instead of 1 at a time.

If anyone understands this request and knows a trick on triggering two midi outputs A + B from a single input on the 2500 please help...
Thanks...

This could be fixed quick if you allowed one TRACK or midi channel to output 2 midi channels, example - 1A + 1B out from TRACK 1 or midi channel 1

how do others trigger and layer say for an example a motif going mpc output midi A
now your softsynth going mpc output midi B for layering? or are you currently recording one midi track first then copying that midi track to track 2 and stacking them like that?

I would much rather be given the option to stack 2 midi output's per track from mpc as this would be quicker for creating thicker patches on the fly. The mpc 4000 had this option,so it has been done before.
jj this would be an excellent update.
thnx..

Track 1 midi out 1A <<--could be motif
midi out 1B <<--could be vst's

triggered from one midi input ... :"] please jj make this happen

is soft thru omni-all my only chance,on this? and if so.. well i guess that defeats the purpose as it will only record one of the tracks, unless I'm in a daw...!
