MIDI Doesn't Play on The One.....HELP PLEASE

I have 5 sequences. So, When I start playing a sequence the note from My Motif that I'm sequencing on the MPC doesn't play but when it loops back to the one it does play but when I flip to another sequence from the sequence that's running, again, on the one (beginning of sequence) on the next sequence the note doesn't play.

How do I set things up so that the sounds from My MPC aren't up on My Motif's keys so that they won't get recorded in the sequence while I'm playing keys.

The problem with the looping sounds like it could be a time correction issue. Make sure you don't have any swing on your quantizing.

As for the MPC sounds set your tracks accordingly to your music. At the bottom of the main screen set the type up as DRUMS with the program your using. For the next track set the TYPE to MIDI and PROGRAM TO OFF and the MIDI channel to which ever one your using from the motif. If it's confusing at all just PM me if you need anymore help.

I thinks I have the same problem. For some reason my piano sequence misses the first note (beat 1) the first time it is played.

The next time the sequence plays round the piano sounds on the 1.

I suspect it is related to midi synch.

Yes I do have swing quantise but this issue occurs even when there is no swing. In any case, shouldn't we be able to have swing while sequencing midi.

Any tips would be great.

PAPICHULO You are the man I was seriously thinking about getting rid of my 2500LE But now all is well. Alot of people are having the same problem this should be a sticky, It would save a lot of people MAJOR FRUSTRATION and time, The sad part about it is that it is in the manual PAGE 24 section 03. In the Pgm field, select OFF or No. I knew AKAI would not release no BULL$#!+!
