New to the MPC1000 World..

Im new to the MPC 1000 world. I just ordered one of the Blue and red MPC 1000's and was wondering if I need or should use the JJ OS instead of the OS it is coming with. WHat is in JJOS that I would want? I see people mention auto-chop as one feature but I see the 1000 now has that? what else?

hey! welcome to this beautiful world of mpc! jj os is a third party operating system you should definately use. you pay 30$, you get 500$ extra-features.

so you already found the door, now open it by yourself... no need for handholding, you shall find everything you need to know. just look around, this place is full of information.

I would recommend you spend a week or so with the akai os just to get your bearings down then definately make the switch. You will notice the difference
