This is a cool thing i noticed.
1. Play with sample set to note on and alternate loop.
2. Set qlink to sample start with a low setting of 0 and a high setting of 100
When qlink is at o the sample plays from the start when qlink is set at 100 it plays from the end.i.e. the sample plays in reverse!
Watch out that you don't hold the pad for too long if you only want to hear the reverse part of the sound.

whats alternate loop? is that a function? or a technique? the way youve described it, it sounds like a function. some insight please. im still on 4.75 if that makes any difference. thanks.

alternate loop is a new-ish function for the jj os, i can't remember when it was introduced other than it was about the time jj announced there wouldnt be anymore additions... i can't tell you how greatful i am that he put this in!

the function operates from trim mode:
1.turn loop on for a sample
2.using the cursor keys locate the forward loop symbol --> then use the data wheel to turn it to a symbol like this: <-->
3.in a program the sample playback mode has to be set to note on, alternate looping doesn't work on one shot.
