Yeah but i want to bring "sample A" into "sample B"

so that in the end its "sample A + sample B" in the same file.

I would like this if its possible..
Many times i find myself in a situation that i must bring in the samples to the computer and then merge them together, then bring it back inte the mp. messes with the work flow.

Would any one like this? or should i just forget about the idéa and do it the hard way?

would open up a whole new way of working, i like the idea but i think it would be alot to put into the OS

sounds like what you want is "copy to clipboard" & "paste from clipboard" functions added to the TRIM menu. that might not be hard to implement. wouldn't hurt to send a request to JJ.

exactly

Is it enough to just drop this idéa in the "JJ os feature request"?

Or is there a mail to JJ?

why do you need the two samples in one file? just load them into different pads and play them one after the other. i mean, thats literally the purpose of a sampler.

oh I misunderstood because you said "copy" I thought you meant a copy of sample A but labeled differently.

There's now way currently to combine two samples with each other through the TRIM screen. A workaround would be to assign the two to pads though, then go into the record screen, set it to MAIN OUT, hit record, press the two pads, and then go into trim and delete any gap that might be in the middle.

(hey undersound, that avatar looks really familiar  )

you definitely need to email jj directly. i don't think he actively checks the requests on this forum.

just email the address that jj used to send you your password when you registered the os.
