why no 3.08 aka free version of os2?

you can see versions 6, 7, 8, 9, and 11 in the first screen shot on this page: http://www7a.biglobe.ne.jp/~mpc1000/os2/inst_e.htm

seems like it would only speed up the os development process if we were testing os2 the same way we have been for os1.

Definitely think the work done justifies a relatively small cost to buy the OS.

i don't disagree with that at all, i bought os1 long time ago without ever using the free version. all i'm saying is i think he should offer the same type of test drive for os2.

he kinda is, as in you can use it to its full potential for free but cannot save, he cannot really do a free version as OS2 is to be dependant on OS1 thus he would have to make a OS2 with removed features to benifit himself, which in turn would waste alot of time
