Patch phrase replays all the slices automatically in the order of the original sample at the touch of one single pad with the BPM of the sequence.
Sliced samples, when edited to a new programme (F2), will map each slice to a single pad. Then you can play them in the order you want.

in os3, with sliced samples you can redefine your slices. with patched phrase, you cannot.

patched phrases keep the feel of the original in there too, the grooves there , and then u can move the pitch about (qlink>pitch), and the tempo, and the groove is also retained....it can get very organic sounding if u have say a classic break, with qlink1 adjusting the pitch of the track, and qlink2 adjusting the tempo of the sequence, it gets very slinky....n morphy , only with pp's!
