OS 2 Version 0.66 IS UP!!!

OS2 is in the middle of development.
Specification is not decided.
Therefore, a manual is not made yet.
The function which existed today may not exist tomorrow.
Many bugs exist.
Please install, when you have consented to these.
It can be ordinarily used except a save.
Please purchase a password, when a save is required.
The charge of a password is US$ 39.00.
We recommend you to install it, after it is completed when a bug is worrisome,
since a completion schedule is in March, 2008.

Notice
OS1(Ver4.94 or more) into which the password was entered is required for installation of OS2.
Therefore, OS2 is not installable from AKAI OS and free JJ OS.

you can do that with OS1 too.

I did not know that. Saves me tons of time now and lets me save previous versions on my CF which you probably do already!

I really like the new features and the layout. Navigating through the OS and shaping sounds has been alot of fun. So far it's off to a good start, and I'm looking forward to buying the password soon.

Now, Ver0.66 was uploaded.
The bug of the report has not been corrected yet.

this os2 version doesn't fix any of the bugs i reported yesterday unless the programmer noticed them before i reported them. it's probably still quite buggy.

PLEASE don't let the bugs freak you out. jj and murai released the os early because a lot of people were excited/curious.

let me remind you that when reporting bugs, be as specific as possible. use steps and simple language. model your language after the writing found on jj's page. same grammar style and same sentence structure. this makes it most easy to communicate.

happy hunting. i had an absolute blast yesterday tracking down bugs. it can be lots of fun when you think about how many people you're helping out, as well as being a part of mpc history.

not to be ignored. there are some great programs in there. i like particularly the filter aftertouch one.

note: aftertouch is recorded into the sequencer as POLY PRESSURE but is not yet played back

this caught my eye as being extremely significant! let me explain: i've just downloaded the os2 and am amazed at the difference, but if this is all based on the os1, what the fvck can we expect from os2 proper??? man this guy's good...
