footswitch play/start + record?

im still on jjos 4.75(it suits my needs perfectly if anyone wants to know why)and just copped a 2nd hand synth that came with 2 footswitches.

when i go into the footswitch options, there is no option to select play/start + record, which sucks because i cant play a synth. so my question is this, is there a newer version with the play/start + record footswitch option? i searched and saw a post that said there was, but that was back in dec 06. so im guessing it was removed to supply more code for something else.

Interesting, I was just messing with the footswitches maybe 15 minutes ago.

I have 4.94 and it has a play start+ record option. Starts it from 1.1.0 and records.
