how do you make keygroup programs in OS2

I am using Chainer VST to save let's say 4 notes such as
c1
c2
c3
c4

In OS2, how do I use these four notes to create a keygroup program that that allows the notes to stretch across my midi keyboard?

depending on your sound source, it's advised for you to grab more than 1 note per octave! i suggest at least 2, C's and G's. soundonsound's article on the lost art of sampling recommends every minor third if i remember correctly

anyway, create an instrument program, then in main screen hit window over the program name. this will open the keygroup program.

then, assign your sample, and then assign your range. by default, the range will be 35-98. this is essentially an autochromatic program. you're gonna want to thin down that range though.

Yeah the beast way is with minor 3rds.
So for example you'd take C D# F# A. That means you only have to tune each sample 1 semitone in each direction to get a whole octave.

I know this may seem like a silly question but how much (+ or -) do have to adjust the tune value to move it 1 semitone?
