i can't use my mpc1000 no more cause it's all messed up since i took out my memory card while saving (cause i accidently saved to the wrong card so i pulled it out whilst saving procedure).
jj os1 4.98 is installed.

what can i do besides taking it to the akai repair division?

you could start by describing the problem better.

sounds like a factory reset wouldn't go amiss -
Factory default reset: POWER ON + ERASE key.

when turning the power on the play and record button flashes up. when pushing play bank 4 lights up. these are just 2 examples of many errors.

pushing erase and power on you see only track erase menu,no sytem reboot option.

this is really frustrating like a virus has hit the mpc!

doesn't work,looks like a repair job for akai or else throwing the machine in a garbage can and buying a more reliable sampler

where do you throw out your garbage?
