I think i saw it up here from someone else, but i'm definitly experiencing phasing in simul that i was'nt having in os1. before i report this on the fix list , i just wanted to know if anyone else could confirm they've had this.

zero phasing here w/ extensive use of simult, 1 instance of 3 pads simulted.
what are you simulting? what, and why?

you will always get phasing if you simult same samples. everything else will not phase because it can't.

Wrong.

Did you test it?

well, not "wrong" but there's more to the story

he's right in the short run. i'm sure commanderobot also knows that SIMILAR samples will also phase if the freqs are in the same places and positioned opposed.

i always phase in the scenarios when i've layered the same sample with itself. i've done it maybe 6 times total, most early on in my mpc career and the last three to test, and make sure that this occurs. it's not a problem, really - there are far better things to do than layer the same sample 2 times to get the wanted effect.

No offense intended.

I only tested with simult, twice the SAME sample and had no phasing at all.

Maybe its starts if u try more.

SIMILAR samples cause trouble all the time.

interesting. maybe i tried before "behind the scenes" timing code was changed. or maybe it's a factor of what type of sample you're layering. who knows...you're pretty much the dude for figuring out the phase "pan" bug so that makes you the default expert on these matters.

maybe i phrased that wrong: i can hear flamming when i simul 2 identical samples which did'nt occur in os1. and i use the example of 2 of the same samples on different pads to verify that the flamming is'nt down to 2 different samples with one being a badly trimmed sample with dead space in front of it. being the cause.
I would'nt nescassarily use it for that purpose, but i need them to trigger tightly together , when i used it in os1, there was no flamming on the attacks of 2 layred drums, whereas now there is. i'm sure it's an easily fixable tick, as it's already worked fine in the past.
