it looks tight, B.A.... sorry i haven't had the time to make some west coast screens like you'd requested. that's cool you were able to put that one together. R.I.P., Eazy...

i explained how in this thread here...

http://www.mpc-forums.com/viewtopic.php?t=85960

there are also a bunch of other splash screens to be found in there...

in the case of the Eazy E one here... you'd have to convert the JPG into a BMP... not hard to do at all. also, remember that the colors will display inverted on the mpc screen from what you see on the computer screen... you'll see what i mean.

Hey thanks crossings, I had never made a splash screen before, I just thought I'd try and it came out alright. But if you get a chance I would still like to see what you could do with the suggestions I gave you.

Cynic, like crossings said, you can convert them. You can save any splash to your computer then just open/edit it in paint (that's all I used to make mine) or photoshop or whatever you got then just re-save it and change the file type to BMP. If you're making it from scratch, it looks like the splash screens that people have made before are at 240 x 64 pixels. I just opened some that were already made and checked the "attributes" and that's what I found out. As long as you work within those dimensions you're straight. When I was done I just named the file mpc1000 and copied it to the main directory of my mpc's memory card. Just make sure the file is named mpc1000 not mpc1000.bmp . the file was already created as a bmp so you don't need to have the .bmp at the end. I had it named mpc1000.bmp the first time I tried and it didn't work then I dropped the .bmp and it was on. Hope this helps.

Peace,

B.A.
