I don't know if that's ever been possible..on any hardware/software. Not sure why you'd really need to do that either because you'd keep passing up whatever you need it edit while the sequencer is playing. You can edit sample start/end points, and sample parameters tho.

i was jamming with a friend at the weekend as midi slave.
everytime i wanted to edit the sequence i had to stop.
he was using a electron machinedrum and monomachine and he could just edit everything on the fly.
if i wanted to start locked in time he had to stop/start.
a bit shit if you ask me.

yeah that would be a hell of a great feature...
i think it´s impossible though....
editing everything in realtime while sequence is playing is one of the real big things i am missing with mpcs...

it makes it pretty useless to do complicated live stuff really...

while the sequence is playing hold record and press play. it will put the mpc into overdub mode so you can add and erase notes.

PLus if you dont want to here the metronome when you go into record mode just turn it off or assign it to an output (F2)
