MIDI QUESTION!

ok, im not sure if this is the multi-timbral feature that everyone wants??, but, when i record on my korg r3, i have to record it into the mpc before i look for other sounds on my korg, it would be very helpful if i can just set one channel to 1a and the other track to 2a and record something different whilst playing them at the same time and having not recorded any of them as wavs on my mpc...is that possible yet or what?

That's the idea. Page 24 of your manual explains how this all works.

doesnt work, ill record something and then go to another track put it on 2a instead of 1a and i dont hear anything???
