OK so im chopping up a sample and I want to keep all of the sliced portions but one of the portions I need to bring the volume or height of the wave down a couple of notches so that way its not too overshadowing on the rest of the slices. Is this possible in the JJOS2?

I tried searching volume and trim, volume and sample but couldnt find anything.

Can't you assign that chop to a pad and use the mixer?
I don't have a 1k, but I'm guessing....

What I do is, after I chop any sample, I'll normalize all of the individual chops. Then I control the volume like lampdog suggested...

I'd recommend normalizing before chopping (or compressing after if you can't do anything) coz if your normalize after chopping you'll have level differences and have to set each chop level which can be time wasting.
