alternate loop in jj os?

hello,
the online comparison chart of the jj homepage says that there is alternate loop in jj os

can anyone explain what that means.. ?
please because i can not find anything about it in the online manual.

audio in loop mode plays back from beginng to end then end to beginning, then beginning to end etc....

you can switch between ==>>>>>> and ==><><><.
