new jj os mbox 2 protools LE

i have it all synced by MTC

it only tracks out 2 at a time so i have 2 tracks (1 on left, on on right) coming out of stereo outputs into the mbox DI inputs

i also have 4 blank bars at the beginning of my loop in the mpc

i set bars and beats and the tempo to match the mpc sequence and keep it on Grid in the PTLE

so i track it out and when i hit playstart on mpc it gives the normal delay then starts recording the blank bars and then the loop

so i do multiple tracks

then when i go back to edit the loop the tracks aren't exactly lined to the grid

as in this pic you can see the grid is coming in after where it should be at?

anyone know what's wrong here?

i'm using a new macbook pro 2.16 dual core

this sucks if everytime i track i have to manually find the exact spot where the loops starts on each track

Firts question would be - what is your master device delivering the MTC ?
If it's mpc, you should switch to Pro Tools and make it a master. I had a looot of bad experiences when tracking from mpc and trying to have it as master. I use 2000xl, but the problem was exactly the same as yours. Tracks did not appear in the equal spot from the beginning. I changed it and now use DAW as master. It is way better.

no. That's why mtc iis betta than midi clock. They just sync the "time" code
