CD buring works fine for me!

Hi. I'm using the JJ OS and I've been burning cds for the last two days. Maybe you meant saving files to disk as a cd-rom?

By burning cds I mean saving wav files onto the cd, then finalizing etc... to create an audio cd.

all works fine for me. I'm on OS 5.47

You just go through the save menu, change the target to cd (appropriate blank cd must be there). you can save as many things as you like onto the cd... finalizing hn you're ready. It then plays fine in a normal cd machine.

i dont see a "DO IT" button where its supposed to be when on the save screen with the target set to the CD drive. I pushed the button where the DO IT button is supposed to be and i get a "SYSTEM ERROR" windo

just tried it, and yea, only wav files for now. Can't save a complete program tho. Kinda sucks, but it's at least a step in the right direction. That's a nice feature to be able to burn audio to disk. Now we can at least re-sample the beat and listen to it later without sending the track from one machine to another.
Ok.. I just tried it, and it sounded just like the MPC. Really nice and full. I turned on the compressor before recording the beat. Very satisfied with the result. This is a really nice way to make drum kits

I think it's a fairly logical use of the cd rom... I mean, if you are trying to save/transport programs, sequences etc... a cf card is surely the easiest way... the cd really is just to get the audio down so you or others can listen.

It sounds pretty nice actually... as the man said... like an MPC!
