Hey I made this video for a friend who wanted to know some of the differences. Like I said in the video I probably missed a bunch of differences, but this is the important ones for me.

Let me know in the comments if I missed something really important to note. Thanks!

*edit* I loaded it up, I realize the last 3 minutes or so of the video is really blurry. I'll prolly re-do it tomorrow.

Dope video man!

I actually just copped a 1000 and finished the manual this weekend. I figured I'd try and get a substantial understanding of the akai OS before trying to grasp the JJ.

I now have the JJ OS version 3.08 and just started messing around with it last night. I noticed that my main page interface looks similar to the akai os, if not the same. Does the free JJ OS look more similar to the akai OS than compared to the $$ versions of the JJ OS?

I'm really gonna have to mess with the new Trim mode features, because that was one of my main gripes with the akai OS... the features in Trim mode seemed very limited. One question, how were you scrolling through the wave form in Trim mode at first? I read the online tutorial but it's somewhat confusing. I think it said something about holding down Tap Tempo, or the Numeric key while using the jog wheel...

You can always load the latest JJ versions to try them out. You just won't be able to save anything without the pasword.
