On my old sampler, the number of bars could be unique for each track. Same with most software sequencers etc.
Okay, I realize the MPC is different and all that. But what I want to know is, what is your process for getting around this?
For example: I have my little 2 bar sequence with my drums (snare, kick, hat) going. NOW, I want to add a piano melody, but I want it to be 8 bars long....
SO, do you guys usually just copy an extra 6 bars to your sequence, then play the 8 bar piano melody? OR, do you go into song mode and convert the sequences into a song, then back into a sequence to make it longer?
I realize there are ways around this, but I'm fairly new to sequencing on the MP and I wanted to see what your workflow was, considering this is a pretty standard issue.
