Just got my 1st 1k and purchased the cf card, got he 80gig hd, and next is some new pads and the rubber that goes to the bottom. Just purchased the OS1 and couldnt be any more thrilled. Their Q link ft.'s and chopping mechanics is sickness. So it wasn't really much towards technical help, but to say thanks to the boards and the JJOS crew.

Peace......www.myspace.com/ktrakz

No dizzy, 1 question. Mind explaining what the audio track feature is all about?

With audio track, you can put an entire acappella in there and build your beat around the vocals. Instead of a drum program, audio track uses a single wav file.

Audio tracks also continue where you hit stop. Say you have a four bar loop assigned to an audio track, you hit play - it goes until bar 3, you hit stop - the audio track stops, then hit play again and it continues where it left off.

Compare that to a four bar sample assigned to a pad. If you hit stop anywhere after the note on event, it won't play again until it comes back around or until you hit the pad it's assigned to.

it's tight, though i haven't figured out how to keep it looping after the end of the audio track sample

ewwww that sucks. I thought it was like the asr where you can sample while playing back and when you press stop it stops and when you restart it restarts also.
