i mean maybe i'm still to new to this and its a better way of doing things..
but is it me or is pitch shift on the mpc 1000's useless? i mean regardless of the OS on it.. ??
on all my samples when I try it out..it jus does not sound clean or clear nor have the desired end effect.. being a poor man i just use Audacity and that works like a dream.. quick, CLEAN and gets teh job done.. mpc even on the C settings sound mad distored or echo'y...
or am i missing or doing something wrong?
i try to use it for 2 main things..
1. the micky mouse vocals.. yeah, yeah i know played out.. but still tho i'm jus tryin to establish my learn on.. and use that technique to get to the next level
2. fine a dope 2 bar sample in the groove and jus pitch it up or down a lil to get it to sound "right"..
but yeah please feel free to expand or offer any input on what yall thoughts and technique's be when it comes time to pitch shift on the mpc...
