JJ OS 4.15 or equivalent?

JJ OS 4.15 or equivalent?

I upgraded from 4.15 to 4.99 a couple of weks ago. Retarded as I am I erased the 4.15 file from my flashcard without backing it up. As I upgraded most of my Real Time events in Step Edit changed it´s function, from "Filter 2" to "Reso" for example. I´ve also experienced, real or imagined, an altered impact of the effects, as if something has changed regarding the amount of send to or output from effects.
As I have a huge backlog of projects with lots of Real Time event data I´d like to be able to downgrade while mixing those projects. I´ve downloaded Stan Steez collection of old OS´s which starts at 4.63, causing the exact same problems. I contacted him and asked for older 4.XX, but his logs doesn´t reach that far back.

If anybody on here has a JJ OS between 4.10 and 4.63 I´d be extremely greatful if he/she wished to share it. Also, does anybody know by which OS upgrade JJ flipped the Real Time stuff? Or a rather easy workaround!

I´ve been away from here a year or so and are pretty poorly updated.

yo ryssen, good to see you back man, it's been a long time! i've deleted the OS files as i went unfortunately, so i cannot help you. Hopefully someone can. Have you tried OS2 yet?

Nope, haven´t got around to that yet. Just done some shallow reading on the matter, seems like some nice additions but the loss of the 2:nd filter will make sound shaping rather unmanageable to me. Will certainly check it out, but due to the filter issue it´s probably not my future choice.

that's a shame man, it's worth a look in any case, but i think you'll find the inst programs and the adsr will be very helpful to you. who knows, you may even forget the 2nd filter!

Does anyone know one of the last versions to include the pad assign feature? I'm not quite sure what the official name is, but it allowed you to assign any function to any pad... If I sound ignorant, sorry. I just remember reading about a funtion like this being removed. If you know what I'm talking about, please list a version it is on, and what it allowed that is no longer in the OS...

There was an OS history on JJ's site once, wher you could see, when PAD Mode was removed... I can't find it right now, but as far as I can remember, PAD Mode was removed when the new MAIN Screen was implemented with version 4.3x.

I've updated the OS Collection. I left out the betas of the free OS. Did some file renaming to give it more of a chronological order (just renamed _nv to _jv, version numbers remain untouched). That's all. The archive contains more than 100 builds. Original Filesize was 99.5 MB. After Packing 4.5 MB - I love 7zip :D
