Sequence change by MIDI in program change.
It dose not work.

2. [GLOBAL PROGRAM EDIT]

It dose not work.

3. [GLOBAL PROGRAM EDIT]

F6[WHOLE]=ON and region B01-XXX.
Cursor is strange when PAD is struck.

of course you can.

sample it to another sampler or record it to the computer.

That seems like a strange thing to do. If that other sampler is made from Roland, then it would be pointless to do that. If you have a computer with any of the leading music production software installed, you can simply to the timestretch/pitch shift there and sample into the MPC.

So I agree that this function is useless if you can't use it with the MPC 1000s other features. Maybe JJ will get rid of the input thru pitch shift to make room in the code to properly implement this function

the key is the MPC does it in real-time. for creative purposes, its much better than loading a sample into an audio editor and doing an offline timestretch. Its real time. I think it would be a waste to just go to this screen then set your sliders. The point for me would be to play with the sliders and sample what you're doing.

Now if you got a V-Synth, then yeah it pales in comparison. But besides Ableton Live, there's nothing on the computer that can do real-time TS/PS in any sensible fashion. At least nothing that I'm aware of.

Is the sound "quality" of the timestretching and pitch shifting the same as when you do these within the trim mode?

yeah the sound quality is as bad as in the trim mode. Now the mpc can do that maybe it would be better to have a preview button in trim mode for those using it.

Not only the V-synth....I believe almost all of the latest Roland products that sample. What this JJ OS is doing is nowhere close to what Roland products can do.

Ableton Live...as well as Emu software sampler...does time stretching in realtime....
