manual hell

so i just picked up a mpc1000

i've been reading round here to get my head around the features..
but i've been having a hell of a time with the manual just not able to find in the manual where some features i see on my mpc are.. i've had other pieces of complicated gear and it wasn't this hard...

yesterday i figured it out.. my manual is for the first akai OS so i was looking for stuff that was not in there, no wonder it was so hard to find.. now i feel stupid..

damn...

loving the jj os though.. big ups to stan steez and everyone else who helped with the 4.99 manual..

i feel u dog,, i just got jjos last night. i was Half way thru the akai manual and i could help feeling like i was wasting time,so i bought 4.99b and started reading the stan steez manual, i ain't goin back

To both of you, yes the stan steez manual is great but try looking through the manual on the JJ OS website. At least for OS2, it is very good. And it is direct from the programmer so it is more likely to be correct.

if you just got jjos 1 its only like ummmm....

30 minutes till u gonna want os2 so do urself a favor and just start learnin dat now

dude i wasn't bashing on you. i was just stating a fact. like you can't deny that jj can have information about features of future releases that you can't. that is just a fact of the way things are.

14 dollars and a trip to the local printers and my manual hell is over...
