Hi,
one thing did always bother me about the mpc 1000: if you play a keyboard-type sound via masterkeyboard and use the sustain-pedal, you will not get satisfying results; the sound will simply sustain as long as possible and not release once you release the pedal. I was told by Akai support that this is due to the fact that the mpc is a drum sampler and does not offer a full ADSR curve.
Of course I was hoping that this will change with OS2 since it's amp does offer an ADSR curve. But it behaves just the same when sustain-pedals are concerned. Or did I miss somthing?
TIA, Herbert.
