Install OS 2 would be my answer. If loop and note on is enabled, you still have to hit the pad once only and the sound keeps looping. But it fades out slowly in default settings. I guess you can change that in GPE. Didn't get into that yet

and there is cheat that works in both os. set pad to note on/loop. while you are holding it down hit track mute. the pad locks indefinitely. you can repeat this process with other pads. the only problem is that you need to think about where you place pads you want to loop in terms of what windows you want to access. for instance if you are in bank A and you lock pad 7 using this method but then you want to get back to the program window (mode+pad 7) it will turn off. if you switch banks though you are fine. i often put the samples i want to loop in this way in bank D and than switch back for everything else.

I wonder if that' a feature or an accident? Cos hitting track mute when you are holding down a pad seems counter intuitive. But if it works I'll have to try it anyway.

genius..... simply genius glitch or not... my live set just got alot more dynamic with this find nice find grassmin.
