Hey,

I was trying out that new pattern mode in the os2 and i was wondering how you could use the result in the actual sequence.

I figured out you could save the pattern program (the pattern template) but i still don't have a clue on how you can use the pattern you've created.
Do you have to resample it using the recorder mode? I searched through JJOS 2 manual for an answer but nothing...

Thx in advance,

Pi

you can access pad patterns in grid edit and insert them into the sequence.

also grid edit integrates with pad pattern...and this is the killer for me,if your in grid edit looking at something you've recorded in the normal way(i.e. by hitting pads) if you press window on a pad, you can edit tuning, duration and shift timing(!!!) of your recorded data using the pad pattern interface...while the sequence plays!!

it'd be crazy to assign a pattern to a pad, so every time you hit a pad it triggers a mini-sequence, i thought it'd be like this at first... still very useful to me as it is,but more for editing than composing or performing.
