3. Chose Tr. 63 using the jog wheel
4. Using the right cursor button moved to name position
5. Hit window key, and when I hit F3 the screen messes up. (This doesn't happen every time, it happens once every 5 times or so)

here is a bug i sent to JJ a couple days ago. it's in both OS 1 & OS 2.
i tried to make it in 'JJ speak' as much as i could, but i haven't received a response yet.
this definitely needs to get fixed before he adds all the midi CC stuff.

***************************************************************
this bug is present BOTH in OS 1: 4.99 AND OS 2: 1.06

1. start MPC

2. change track type to MIDI

3. enter GRID EDIT

4. press SHIFT + F1 ( CONTROL )

5. change the type at top of screen to CTRL CHANG

6. press PLAY + REC & move Q-link to record some CC data

7. ***while the sequence plays***, move to a new CC # at top of screen ( example: from 11 EXPRESSION to 12 EFFECT)

8. record new CC data with Q-link

*** BUG: a display is strange. the CC data display does not clear. display "overlaps" from channel to channel.

9. press STOP & the display is corrected!

ERROR: display is only updated when STOP is pressed, not when the channel is changed while sequence plays.

need display to update when channel is changed.
need display to update when REC or OVERDUB is pressed.

Yo You already know Im still on that Punk ass Midi clock issue.

1.Power on Mpc
2.Go to the midi sync menu and select midi out channel A master, midi clock, with MMC off
3.back to the main menu and change the track channel to midi, turn the program off, PC off, and the midi channel to 1A.
4.Using 2 midi cables connect one end of each cable to the mpc's midi in and out connections 1 and A.
5.Connect the in of the Mpc to the midi out of a keyboard and the out of the mpc to the midi in of the keyboard.
6.Adjust your keyboard to be a midi slave.
7.enter the record mode on your mpc and on the 1stcount of the 1stbar play and hold a note for 2counts repeating this on the 1st count of every bar for a 4bar sequence. Allow the recorded info to playback for an additional 4bars before pressing stop.

8. Press play start and sound is cut off.

This is extremely disasterous due to myself having a roland fantom in which the tempo can only be adjusted in whole numbers(88,89,90) When tuning samples sometimes the sample tempo is found at 87.4, 86.5,88.3 etc. Without being able to sync to the mpc's midi clock this is impossible for the fantom to playback patches that are tempo dependent! Holla!
I know this description of how to generate this bug isnt the best but if you hae typed this as much as I have you'd understand.

All I need is this to be fixed and I don't give a damn if the Os is ever officially finished. Anything is better than akai's Os.

THE INFAMOUS GRID EDIT HORIZONTAL EVENT SELECTING BUG (not fixed since day 1)!

This one has been in there ever since grid edit was introduced:

01. Enter Grid Edit (No Matter which Mode, I used DRUM here)
02. Select an Event in the very FIRST position of the GRID/ Timeline only (I just found that out).
03. Hold [SHIFT] and [DOWN ARROW] to select EVENTS Horizontally
04. Turn DATA WHEEL left > Events will get selected from top to bottom
05. Turn DATA Wheel right to the beginning of the selection
06. Turn DATA wheel Left to the beginning again > BOOM, you can no longer select/ scroll down. You have to release the buttons and repeat from step 03, to select events again (If you start turning data wheel right before left, selecting events instantly doesn't work!)

This bug only appears in the very first section of grid. for the rest, everything works as supposed

This needs to be done in OS1 too.

and this bug used to not be there as well... it worked just fine in previous versions. i recently downgraded from OS1 4.99G back to 4.99 (without any letters at the end) just to avoid that bug.
