for about a year now i have been just recording finished songs into my computer's soundcard. but i recently seen my friend save his finished beat onto a compactflash.

can you save your song as wav?
if so how? im working with the free OS JJ

i know that if you go to record mode and set it to main out and stereo then hit play, it can record your sequence and convert it to a wav in the mpc just as if it were another sample. in my opinion this is better cuz u could just record all your sequences in the mpc, then just straighten things out by just dragging those files off the compact flash card and into a DAW. this is easier than trying to record dirextly into the computer. i hope this helped somewhat.

Saving is disabled in the free versions.
