Adding bars trouble

I've been copy and pasting bars a lot lately with no issues. Sometimes when I go under bars and add say, another 20 to work with. And try recording from whatever point I ended at before (Lets say bar 15) Now a total of 35 bars, if I try recording from bar 15, or even from 1 and wait until 16-35 should show up, it just repeats back at 1. I've tried everything and always end up re-starting a new sequence. Kinda BS, but not sure what else to do at this point.

EDIT: At this point a new sequence isn't fixing things.

SHIT: I think I had it stuck on Loop, apparently if the tracks are blank, even though you are recording on them, it loops it back to the beginning, odd.
