no not an rtfm - i was scatchin my head for a time, also.

set your track to [drum] press [main] to get into grid edit, then press the [window] key
make your pattern, then hit F6 to close and get back to grid, or you lose the pattern
( been caught out once or twice now)
while in grid you can work on different bars of the sequence to change bars - it's top left in pattern.

the alternate way is go to pattern mode - [MODE] + pad 11 make you pattern
the go to Grid edit - press [MAIN] twice, then hold the shift key and press the pad number of your pattern you made.

cheers

f

No sorry that's not what we are saying.... nice idea though :) although song works well as it is
and in jj os2 you can convert even the audio tracks to a sequence now.

what we are saying is - you can enter grid edit - from there you can open pattern, program in your notes via the patten
interface screen. close it, and the notes appear in the grid edit window

here's the manual - it's shows everything you need to know.

there's a lot of stuff on os2 your missing out on d/l give it try

Tried to use that yesterday, but failed. With SHIFT + PAD 11 I entered the pattern editor and created a nice pattern.

Then I entred GRID EDIT, but couldn't find a way to insert my pattern. When pressing WINDOW, the pattern editor does not contain the patterns I created after pressing SHIFT + PAD 11.

Looks like a nice idea, but it's pretty awkward to use.

And what annoys me most: I'm used to enter PROGRAM EDIT with SHIFT + PAD 11. But now the pattern editor opens and stops the playback.
