Im about to buy the new JJOS for the 1000 but should I install the OS , OS1 , then the OS2.....or is it safe to say that I could just get the OS2 and skip the fisrt two......please help ,,,,,thanks

actually, they're sequential. you can't skip. to get os2, you must also get os1. to install os1, you must first install 3.0X.

jjos2 += jjos1/3.0X

os2 is the most fully featured of the three, the deluxe suite.
os1 is the "old standby." it's MORE than enough for great work, but IMO leaves some bits to be desired.
3.0X is the jumpoff. it's where we all started back in Summer 2006! install it to get a taste of some of the good stuff.

I bought a 1 gig card.. when I put it in the MPC1000 it aske d if i wanted to reformat the disk...so I did .... I just went to download the os I hooked up the computer to the mpc and when I went to copy the OS file of the computer it said that windows needed to reformat the disk so I pushed the ok button . and the computer said faild formating disk and did not let me drag the OS file into the MPC disk/////should I have not formated the disk to the MPC ?? do I need to BUy a new disk just to update the OS.... if anyone can help that would be greatly appreaciated ....
