hello,

1) i would like to play on track 1 with program 1 with my external MIDI keyboard
AND with the pads of the MPC on track 2 with program 2. how to do this ?

2) is there a MIXER to mix the different tracks (with sliders...) : the MIXER mode
only shows sliders for the different pads !

3) how to set a REVERB, or any other effect on ALL pads ? or on the master ?

thanks

1 - nah, unfortunately multitimbrality is not in any mpc1000 os. i feel you, i also hope for this someday.

2 - os2's track mixer is what you're looking for. track mixer is not in os1.

3 - use the EFFECTS page or GPE to do this

ok for 1) 2)

for 3), how can you put a FX for all pads of a specific Track ?
without setting FX1, FX1, FX1, FX1 (64 times !!!)
and another FX for another track...

(not on Master -> this way, all tracks would have the same FX !)

when you're in the effects send screen, you can hold SHIFT and press any one of the pad bank buttons to select all of the pads in A, B, C, or D all at once

Nym wrote:^ nice, did not know that!

I think it's actually been around since Akai OS

thinking about it now, it wouldn't be a bad addition to program edit mode, like WHOLE hotkeys for only 16 pads at a time

oh cool, can't recollect any manual mentioning this (I usually read them thoroughly).
