Samples dies while playing

The sample I'm playing dies from nowhere. I tried to put it in different programs but it doesn't matter. It will play when I hit the pad where it's at, or play it Solo but never all at the same time. What is this about?

That doesn't really make any sense to me. I tried to cut the sample up and play it on several pads, it worked. What do you mean by checking the poly? Is it adjustable? Thought the MPC would manage more than this

The 2500 has 32 voice polyphony. That means that only 32 samples can be playing once. If you go over that 32 it's going to stop the sample that was triggered first in order to play the newly triggered.

If you go over 32 voices samples will cut off.

Make sure that you are not going over 32.

Mode+Pad10 to check the voice meter.

Go in program mode and try putting some drum samples in mono, to ease up on the number of voices being used in your project.
