mpc 1000 w/jjos thru e-mu 0404 to logic

I'm Having Problems With The Windows Pv/av Driver Crashing Logic Alot. I Was Wondering If It Would Be More Feasible Using The E-mu 0404 To Connect:

2 Mics
1 Midi Coming In Through Usb From Mpc 1000 w/jjos 3.9
Keyboard Through Mpc 1000 To Midi (same As Usb Above)
Audio From Mpc 1000 To E-mu 0404 Into Logic Thru Usb
Whatever Ever Other Outs It Has (4 In - 4 Out)

Will The Vocals Be Good To Go Thru The E-mu 0404?

Basically I Want To Be Able To Record Keyboard, Mpc Sequences, Vocal , Etc Through External Sound Card Interface (e-mu 0404) In To Logic Thru Usb (onto Tracks)

I Believe The E-mu 0404 Has A Asio Driver That Comes With It And Supposebly Logic Likes That Driver Better.

Is It Wise To Think That The Windows Driver (pc/av) Is Crashing Logic?
