is there anyway to got to the last sample instead of scrolling through all yourr auotladed samples to get to the sample you just recorded. this seems ridiculous for program creation on the fly. please help. thx

yeah, i'm not sure if i like the new 'sort by name'-style of the samples, too. comes not so handy in some situations...

agreed! i got used to the fact that the last sample saved was at the end of the list. " F1 sort " please.

will try that - thx. still would like to figure out how to get to a sample quicker when tons are loaded. even if you could just start from the end instead of the beginning. jj? akai? come on!

My jog wheel has been broken for quite a while and I've learned to get around quickly by holding shift and pressing the plus and minus buttons. It moves in increments of ten. In the sample window you can scroll through 50 samples by pressing shift+ plus button 5 times.

u r a phoqin' genius. thx a mill. it works with the jog wheel as well. pardon my ignorance but is there a plus and minus button other than the top left pad? when in program mode and trying to arrange my samples i can't use that pad - it will only audition the sample of course. please verify i ain't going crazy

You know, I wish I could help beyond that but the truth is.... I use a 2500. I only use the forum for the 1000 because it is much busier, cuz more people own one. had i known one thing about mpcs before getting one, i would have bought a 1000 instead. save that dough and get me a blue screen... ha!
