hello

im trying to set the mpc 2500 (jjos) to 12 steps intead of 16.
could anybody explain me how to do this ?

it seems that the lenghts of the loop can only be set to 1 or 2 bars, not divisions of it.
any hints would be greatly appreciated.

thank you muied lumens

yes that works, its just half of the tempo that i want.
what can i do to double the tempo ? (without changing the bpm setting)

i explain :

in 3/4 there are 12 steps for 1 bar.
i set a bassdrum on step 1 and 7.
hihat on 4 and 10
snare on 7
(simple discobeat)
now its half of the tempo that i set (120bpm)
i cant change it to 240 because other slave devices would be to fast then.
is there any other way to double the tempo of the pattern ?

just change the t.c. settings to 32th like muied said, then you have 24 steps in 3/4 time signature.
set your drums the way you did for the first twelve steps and then to the same pattern for the next twelve steps.
