Antonym Pad replacement for sale

So I got my new akai pads, and I don't need these anymore. They're OK, the velocity response is iffy, so I mostly used them with full level on, and you kinda need to hit some pads right in the middle with full level off.

But they work, and the akai pad upgrade seems hard to get, so if anyone wants these (probably good for anyone with lots of dead pads) $75 takes it.

yeh i sold my old pads on ebay the other week. only got $30 but they were working fine. means the upgrade cost me $80

What is the [Antonym Pad]? Is that the actual name of the pads?? I get what you are saying but I never knew the pad had a name other than product malfunction piece of ish form Akai....

Antonym is a member of these boards who - prior to Akai releasing an official upgrade - created his own "pad fix" kit that utilized a custom-molded pad sheet and a more durable sensor. The kit was sold to a limited number of other members on this board.

To sum it up, they are better in many ways than the old style pads, but not as good as the official new pads. In fact Nym himself uses the official fix rather than his own.

Yeah, the new pads are the shit, but availability is apparently low, so I figured I'd offer them here if anyone has the wack old pads and doesn;t have the money or can't get ahold of the new pads.

I paid much more for the Antonym pads, I have no problem throwing them out if no one wants them.

yo i'll buy those pressure sensors off you if you don't have any other takers - esp if you throw in your old frame and PCB.

Sold! Yeah I was going to give the plate and pcb for the old pads too, do you want the older soft rubber pads too? That'll be extra just kidding!
