help Trying to find a thread about Different Loop Lengths

i read a post not to long ago about work arounds where i think people were using audio tracks
or simult tracks for layering sequences that were different lengths, like a 2 bar drumloop with a 4bar guitar part on top of it. if someone could post a link to that thread i'd be very grateful.

take a different length sequence and set it as your ss..... you gotta have jj though (i think). i'm sure i'm missing something as you seemed to answer this in your question. i'm sure you've thought of this. i haven't yet. what the **** am i talking about?

or just sequence the 2 bar loop twice, thus making a 4 bar loop
